I have amended these programme change numbers so that the patch numbers and programme change numbers match. if Piano was created as patch 1, programme change 1 and I copied it to position number 20 say on the patch list, it still shows under attributes as programme change 1.

I noticed that the programme change number in "attributes" was copied as the original i.e. I have therefore created a piano patch I like then copied and pasted it when I need it later in the patch list. Piano followed by Strings followed by Piano again etc. I am using a limited number of different sound patches but need them in sequence for Iive play so that I can just keep pressing the next patch button e.g. I checked the programme change numbers in the patch list and found a problem resulting from me copying and pasting patches. I tried removing the "Next Patch" mapping for CC32 but this did not resolve the issue. Have you any ideas what is going on and why the patch moves are random, not just jumping the same number of patches each time? The same midi messages appeared except that the Programme Change value was shown as 37. I pressed next patch again and this time it jumped to patch 39. The midi messages were the same three lines as above, except that the Programme Change value was 36. I pressed the Next Patch button again and this time it jumped to patch 37.
